CURT ROME
Curt Rome is a native of Tallulah, Louisiana. After spending years at large New Orleans law firms, Curt joined Barry, Rome & Scott to offer clients personal service with big firm experience. Curt is a litigator whose practice is concentrated in business litigation, insurance law, wage claims, and civil tort litigation. His experience includes construction, products liability, retail, hospitality, premises liability, transportation, commercial, medical device, first- and third-party insurance coverage, professional liability, commercial and residential property damage, business interruption, business loss claims, wrongful death, and toxic tort cases. His clients have included commercial carriers, contractors, medical device manufacturers, homeowners’ associations, national retailers, domestic and foreign product manufacturers, and domestic and London market insurers.

During his practice, Curt has tried cases in federal and state courts throughout Louisiana. He has also argued appeals in both federal and state jurisdictions.

Curt is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, an honor bestowed on less than one percent of the lawyers in each jurisdiction. He has also received Martindale-Hubbell’s AV peer rating which is the highest rating offered.
